The purpose of bounce rate is to help you to determine the effectiveness or performance of your website. Means that when user enters to your web page then is your webpage is capable to generate interest of your visitor. For example, user reaches to a webpage and then there are further two conditions to determine bounce rate
  • User left the page without clicking any further page of your website.
  • User view one or more page of your website.

The page with low Bounce rate shows means that page attracts the user and effectively causes visitors to watch more pages of your website and take a deep look of your website by searching other pages too of your website.
On the other hand High Bounce Rate indicates that the website is not doing good job of attracting the users. Means the user which come to your webpage through any source has no attraction to watch other pages of your website. So high bounce rate is not good sign.
